I am currently recruiting for a Front End Loader & Excavator Operator ready for a stable, casual with full-time role in the essential Sydney waste industry.
Currently there is one position available for a national leader in waste and recycling. As an Operator, you will be crucial to the daily flow of work, managing bulk waste materials and ensuring high standards of site cleanliness and customer service.
Locations & Shifts:
- Monday to Friday
- Greenachre 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Pay rate $45ph
Occasional overtime opportunities are available but no guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities:- Efficiently manage, move, tidy and blend waste materials within the stockpile areas.
- Load and unload trucks and client vehicles as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of all areas.
- Interact professionally with the team, drivers and clients dropping off waste, providing clear direction face to face and using a radio.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures and operational protocols. An induction will be performed on your first day and VOC will be conducted for all Plant operators on site.
- Assist with any other duties on site as required.
Required for success:
- Proven experience operating heavy plant machinery in a stock pile, bulk materials or waste environment is highly preferred.
- Current, Front End Loader & Excavator Licence/Ticket is essential for the role.
- Commitment to a strong safety-first culture.
- Team player and self starter.
- Reliability and punctuality for early starts.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform labouring duties when required and meet minimum seat limits.
